Artifacts and Fossils:

Human Remains:
If you find what you think may be human remains (e.g. bones), please contact local law enforcement or your district Medical Examiner immediately. It is a felony to knowingly disturb human remains.
Please note that questions involving newly discovered archaeological sites, human remains, cultural resources, or artifacts found on state-owned or submerged lands may be subject to Florida reporting and preservation requirements.
