The Anthropology faculty conducts research in many areas and has projects in locations that include:  the Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, the Caribbean, Egypt, Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, and the United States. The Anthropology faculty also maintain various research facilities on the UCF main campus:  the BioARC Lab, the Paleoethnobotany and Environmental Archaeology Lab (PEAL), the Laboratory for Bioarchaeology Sciences (LBAS), the Latin American and Caribbean Archaeology (LACA) Laboratory, the Lithic & Ceramic Analysis Archaeology Lab, and the GIS Research Cluster Laboratory.
