UCF Hosting Several Blood Drives This Week

UCF encourages the campus community and the public to donate blood at several on-campus drives this week.

Big Red Buses from One Blood will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, June 13, in front of the Student Union and also at Bright House Networks Stadium.

President John C. Hitt, Student Body President Chris Clemente, Vice President and Director of Athletics Danny White, and UCF coaches and student-athletes will be among those who will visit the blood drive sites on and off throughout the day to greet and thank donors.

There will be one Big Red Bus at each of the two sites. Because of the high demand from donors throughout Central Florida, please anticipate that there may be lines.

For the stadium location, please use the North Orion Boulevard entrance and use Gate 14 for stadium access. Stadium restrooms will be open, and donors can wait in the shaded concourse.

For the Student Union location, free parking will be available Monday in Garage I, located at Centaurus Boulevard and Gemini Boulevard West.

Here is the schedule for blood drives for the remainder of the week:

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, one bus will be next to the Veterans Commemorative Site on Memory Mall (Student Union side).

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, one bus will be in front of the Student Union and a second bus will be next to the Veterans Commemorative Site on Memory Mall (Student Union side).

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 16, one bus will be next to the Veterans Commemorative Site on Memory Mall (Student Union side).
