Women in Cryptography

The Central Florida Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence is proud to present an event focused on the contributions of women in the intelligence community, and specifically in the field of cryptology. Kicking off the event will be one of the National Security Agency’s historians from their Cryptologic Museum in Washington D.C. giving a presentation on female cryptographers in World War II and the formation of the NSA! Following the presentation there will be a short keynote speech by current NSA/CSS Senior Intelligence Analysis Authority Mim Garrant. There will also be a Q&A session following the speech with her and other female members of the IC on their experiences. Please note the agenda below, as the event will take place all within the same Zoom room.

 

1:00pm – Presentation on Female Pioneers in American Cryptology

2:00pm – Keynote Speech by the current NSA/CSS Senior Intelligence Analysis Authority Mim Garrant

2:10pm – Q&A with Mim and current NSA employees about their experiences as females in the NSA and the Intelligence Community
