If I major in Social Sciences, I won’t have the opportunities for things like doing research or Honors in the Major.   False…  Our majors enjoy all the opportunities afforded other majors including undergraduate research with faculty, honors in the major and internships.

Social Sciences students need to be self-directed.   True… Ours is an interdisciplinary degree so naturally no one path fits all. Students must choose 3 different minors. But self-directed doesn’t mean direction-less! Our advisors are always ready to help.
