UCF’s commitment to transformative impact includes equipping faculty with the skills and strategies to engage meaningfully beyond academia. The Industry Readiness Program is a hands-on strategic initiative designed to empower faculty researchers with the competencies, confidence, and insights necessary for successful industry and community collaboration. Through guided learning, mentorship, and strategic engagement, participants will strengthen their ability to translate academic research into practical, high-impact solutions aligned with real-world needs. The program also prepares faculty to articulate compelling value propositions, navigate external partnerships, and utilize institutional resources to drive sustainable collaboration. By fostering industry readiness across disciplines, this initiative advances UCF’s strategic objective of becoming a top 25 public research university—building bridges between scholarship and societal innovation.
This initiative includes a one-day intensive boot camp, and a fall seminar series designed to prepare faculty for meaningful industry engagement. Space is limited, so register early to secure your spot.
- 1-Day Boot Camp Intensive on Wed, August 13, UCF downtown campus from 8:30-4:00pm.
- 5 Workshops in the series starting September 11 from 1:00-2:30pm
