Environmental Health & Safety

The UCF Environmental Health & Safety department is responsible for various laboratory and general safety areas for the university. The COS Facilities team works with various individuals within EH&S to ensure the safety of our employees and facilities. The descriptions below explain the different EH&S teams and their responsibilities. Everyone who works in a laboratory, including faculty, staff, students, and volunteers are required to attend EH&S-provided laboratory safety training that is appropriate for the hazards in their lab.
