Available Publication and Travel Expense Awards
The College of Sciences presents two award opportunities for faculty to further their research through dissemination of creative and research products and pursuit of new funding opportunities. The COS Research Dissemination and Travel (RDT) Awards support activities that allow faculty to achieve prominence in research, scholarly, and creative activities while increasing the national and international recognition of UCF.
Awards will be given on a first-come-first served basis until COS funding is exhausted. Please note: all UCF/COS travel policies and procedures need to be followed by traveler.
The COS RDT Awards match funding from the department or faculty member with:
- up to $2000 in support from COS toward expenses for research dissemination through support of publication charges (“RD Awards”)
- up to $2000 in support from COS toward travel to present at a scientific conference or engage in research networking for external funding development (“DT Awards”)
Each applicant is eligible to receive one award per category (RD / RT) each year.
