Biography
Dr. Chung is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at the University of Central Florida. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Statistics from the University of Georgia as well as M.B.A. in Finance and B.B.A. from Korea University. His research interests include aggregating with regularization, developing efficient algorithms for graphical model, and estimating conditional dependencies through precision matrices for brain network analysis. His application work focuses on interdisciplinary research collaborations with pure and applied mathematicians, computer scientists, psychologists and neuroscientists.
