Biography

Rong Zhou received her M.S. in Statistics from South Dakota State University and wrote her thesis on comparison of software packages for detecting differentially expressed genes from single-sample RNA-seq data. She received her PhD degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and wrote her dissertation on the numerical simulation of cell movement along smooth surfaces.
