Scholarships and Awards

Scholarships

Thanks to thoughtful and generous donations from alumni, community partners, and friends, the UCF College of Sciences awards numerous scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students each year. These scholarships generally provide access to funds for tuition and related educational expenses and do not require repayment.

Scholarships are awarded for a variety of reasons including academic achievements, campus and community involvement, and financial need. To apply for a scholarship, please follow the instructions on our Scholarships page to find out which ones you match with.

Awards

There are several university and college awards for students. Some notable ones include the Order of Paegasus Student Awards and Founder’s Day Award. The Order of Pegasus nominations are due in early October with finalists being notified and recognized in the spring term. Each College Dean selects one undergraduate student to recieve the Founder’s Day Student Award. These nominations are due in early November with finalists being notified and recognized in the spring term. Students selected for these honors represent the most dedicated, passionate, and highest achieving Knights.
