The University of Central Florida Physics Department will be hosting a Physics Career Exploration Day

Today’s physicists find themselves working in almost every science and engineering environment, including teaching, and are often in leadership roles.  Physics Career Exploration Day is designed to help students learn about the great career opportunities available to them in the field of physics and to engage in the learning environment and programs at UCF.

Physics Career Exploration Day is geared toward high school students and college freshmen and sophomores.

  • 10:00 AM – Program Begins
  • 12:00 PM – 01:00 PM – Lunch
  • 01:00 PM – 02:00 PM – Tour Research Labs and Other Programs
  • 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM – Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream and Other Demonstrations
