Biography
Dr. Westley James earned his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Central Florida, with his research focus on how to better design post-secondary physics courses to better support students with disabilities. After this, he taught high school physics, physical sciences, and AP Research at Lake Mary High School for four years while also adjuncting some introductory physics courses at UCF. In Fall 2024, he joined UCF as a full-time physics lecturer where he currently teaches the introductory physics courses and co-manages the introductory physics labs.
