See the system. Solve the problem.
Health. Crime. Technology. Sociology examines the systems that shape them. At UCF, you’ll learn to investigate social problems, evaluate evidence, and explain what your findings mean.
Our Medical Sociology and Crime, Law, and Deviance B.S. tracks launched in Fall 2026. The Science, Technology, and Society (STS) Certificate offers an interdisciplinary option to complement your major.
Two B.S. Tracks. A Strong Research Foundation.
Both tracks lead to the 120-credit Bachelor of Science in Sociology. You’ll build skills in statistics, research design, advanced methods, and data analysis, then complete an original research project and capstone.
Both tracks may be completed fully online, although some electives and prerequisites may require other arrangements. Plan your selections with an advisor.
