Biography
Annika Wilcox is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Sociology at the University of Central Florida. She received her PhD in Sociology from North Carolina State University in 2021. Her research interests include work and organizations, diversity, race/class/gender inequality, qualitative and quantitative research methods, social psychology, and political sociology.
Dr. Wilcox is currently working with the NSF ADVANCE Catalyst team at UCF, led by Dr. Amanda Koontz, to examine how UCF STEM faculty perceive their departmental culture and climate, organizational fit, and faculty support initiatives.
Her other ongoing research project examines how employees of a large U.S.-based technology firm make sense of diversity.
