Biography
Salema is a second year Sociology PhD student at the University Of Central Florida. She completed a Psychology B.S. and a Master’s of Public Administration from UCF. Her research interest are in social inequalities, race, and ethnicity in education and medicine.
Research areas include the American Muslim students experience in the education system, particularly in higher education, and the maternal health experience for American Muslim Women.
Salema has background in higher education working in various capacity with students in higher education.
